The Tub Doctors, Inc. can do Acrylic tub liners, wall surrounds, shower surrounds, replacement shower floors and tubs and bead board wainscot. The use of acrylic in bathrooms is one of the newest innovations in the remodeling industry. Years of research and development have gone into perfecting this rich and lustrous, non-porous product. The high gloss acrylic is twice the thickness of acrylics used in the finest spa manufacturing and retains heat three times longer than porcelain. The durable acrylic surface will not chip, dent, crack or peel and is completely colorfast. It will not stain, yellow or fade. It is warm to the touch and has beautiful mirror-like, high gloss finish and since there are no grout lines to clean or maintain, general household cleaners can be used with ease. Bathtub Liners Our “Custom molded” Acrylic tub liners are designed to fit over your old and worn bathtub. Made of DR/ABS, these high gloss and lustrous non-porous acrylic tub liners offer lasting beauty and durability. Our tub liners come in a variety of colors and resist chipping, staining and scratches. All of our liners come with a molded slip-resistant bottom and new Watco drain/overflow. We use primed silicone caulk to help eliminate mold and mildew to finish off the entire look. Since these liners can be installed for a much lesser cost than replacement, you are saved the costly replacements to walls, flooring and plumbing. In a matter of a few hours, you will have a bathtub that is as good as new. Wall Surrounds Our Acrylic walls come in a variety of sizes, styles and colors to help customize your bathroom, from tall ceilings to odd shaped walls. These walls install right over your existing walls with 90◦ curved bend on sidewalls for a finished look. Our walls are non-porous, easy to maintain, high quality acrylic and are 100% resistant to any micro-organism growth which makes cleaning a breeze. Each surround comes with a flush mounted soap dish, chrome towel bar and corner reinforcements (a micro resistant product to prevent all types of microbe from growing). Then the walls are caulked with primed silicone to help eliminate mold and mildew. For bathrooms with windows in the tub area, we install an acrylic window kit to match the walls, whether it is solid, marble or granite.
